I joined a Christmas Canvas Swap over on The Stamp Shack forum. I have painted canvases before in high school, but it has been a while since I added some dimension and texture and painted something for someone else!
I used a flat 5x7 Canvas I got from the craft store. I used Texture Magic Dimensional Paint with The Crafter's Workshop, Cosmic Bubbles Stencil and applied some color with acrylic paint. I also cut apart a Christmas Spray from the floral department and hot glued it to the canvas. I added some embellishments I bought in the scrapbooking section of Michael's Arts & Crafts store and let it dry for a while, and voila.... an altered canvas!
Here is my canvas I made for a gal named Angie on The Stamp Shack website, I titled it "Reindeer Games." I am eager to try my hand at another altered canvas, I will be sure to share on my blog!
