Digi Scraps Drive In (Creative Team Contest)

Well, I've entered a contest over at Digi Scraps Drive In where we are participating in a 5 challenge contest vying for a spot on the site as a Creative Team member. DSDI is a very inviting board, all the members have been very friendly and accepting of all of the "Jr. Paper Shakers." The gals are all very helpful and supportive of us. There are no elimination rounds in this contest, all participants will do every one of the 5 challenges and then the judges will make their decision. Our first challenge was to Extract a person or object out of a photo! At first I was panicking simply because I have NEVER done this before and didn't know where to start! I had just recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 7.0 With the help of some fellow online digi scrapping pals and this Photoshop Elements 7, The Missing Manual book, I was finally able to do an extraction. I thought it was very ironic, that the same week I get this challenge the book that I was wanting came in at our local library and was on hold for me! How sweet is that?

This photo was taken at Summerland Family Fun Park last year on Aaron's Birthday. We went there to celebrate Aaron's 7th Birthday. Aaron and Morgan were posing for me by the rocks on the mini golf course. I just loved this photo. The digital kit used was, March Mega from Scrap Orchart- Victorian Spring.
