ABRAHAM BENEFIT- May 23rd, 11:30am Holy Cross Lutheran Church

Heidi and Mike Abraham were looking forward to spring and adding twin boys to their family. On March 1st, Heidi went into pre-term labor at only 24 weeks. During the delivery process, Heidi suffered from a rare condition known as an Amniotic Fluid Embolism. The odd os a pregnancy being impacted by this condition are rare - 1 in 80,000. The condition caused her heart to stop and medical personnel worked extensively to revive her. Heidi spent 4 weeks in the St. Cloud Hospital initially on full life support fighting hard to beat the 10% chance for survival that was given to the family. Unfortunately, the twins, named Tyler and Connor did not survive.

As Heidi continues to fight back, we want to do something to help ease the financial burden that accoumpanies a tragedy such as this. Heidi will spend the next several months following a rehabilitation program to regain her strength and rehabilitate her brain so she can once again be home full-time with her husband and young son.
