2 Miles!

The MS Walk was today. My friend Michele, her friend Jennifer and I walked the two miles around the VA Hospital this morning. Andy didn't want to crowd us so he stayed at home with the boys. Andy hadnt gotten any pledges, so he thought it would be ok to stay home. I just turned in his envelope at the registration table.

If it weren't for my allergies, I probably would have continued on to walk the additional 7 miles like I did last year. Walking around the VA Hostpital with all that grass and trees really didn't help my seasonal allergies. By the end of the walk I had sneezed nearly two dozen times and my eyes were so irritated. Needless to say, I see a visit with my allergy doctor this week! Overall I am pleased with the participation in the MS Walk this year, maybe next year I can walk further!

I am still not sure how much the St. Cloud Walk raised, I checked the site but it doesn't say. Maybe the total will be in the newspaper tomorrow. I'll be sure to post the amount.

Thank you to all my friends and family that sent money to support a Cure for MS. A special thanks to Amy and Kelly of 2 Croppin Cousinz for the awesome scrapbook donation to my blog raffle!

If you still want to donate, there's still time. You can make a donation on my MS Walk page via a credit card or you can send cahs or check to me and I will then forward it onto the MS Foundation. The scrapbook raffle drawing will be done on May 5. I will post the winner to my blog the following day!
